In thinking and decision making, it will be analyzed on three different types of thinking styles. The three thinking styles analyzed are Creative thinking, Logical thinking, and Persuasive thinking. These three thinking styles are some of the many important styles used in a workplace. Creative, logical, and persuasive is a great mix of thinking styles that helps a company becomes very successful in completing a job task. The Logical thinking style is meant by following a train of thought. It is like looking into then predicting the future as thinking “if this happens then what will happen”. It is based on interpretation of certain conditions and then we predict what would happen if it happens again. Logical thinking is like the opposite of a short term memory and whereas, short term memory enables one to keep track of the immediate past. Now, logical thinking allows you to keep track of the immediate future. Day after day and moment after moment logical thinking has us busy interpreting us making predictions on what happens next. For example, for a group in school to write a paper together, they need to interpret what leads to their conclusion that it will be the greatest idea to choose the best topic to write about as a team. If the paper needs to be on a topic of the history of the largest retail store and decisions may be on a retail store of “Rue 21” then of course we will reinterpret and then conclude that Rue 21 is not a large retail store and go forward to the next step of choosing that large retail store as in “Wal-Mart”. The persuasive thinking style is to establish your credibility, to use a positive and tactful tone. You need to make your presentation is clear and present strong evidence to support your position.
